Samantha Mohr

Mohr was Mohr was a UGA student. She took part in her first pageant, after having been offered by a friend. Mohr was crowned Miss Columbus 1985. She was then eligible participate in her first Miss Georgia pageant, which occurred in June 1985. Mohr was the winner of the contest on Saturday, June 22, 1985. More than $3500 was awarded to Mohr as scholarship money and other prizes. While Miss Georgia she was involved in performances in public across the state of Georgia. Mohr represented Georgia at the Miss America 1986 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey during September of 1985. With computer models that accurately identified the likelihood that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were calculated at 22: 1. Mohr did not appear on The Top 10 list for national crown. Mohr has been Miss Georgia for a total of ten years.
